Oceans are huge bodies of saltwater that cover more than 70% of the Earth's surface. They are home to many plants and animals and play an important role in our climate. There are five main oceans: the Pacific, Atlantic, Indian, Southern, and Arctic. Learning about oceans helps us understand our planet better and the creatures that live in them.
